But the Splash Brothers — Steph Curry and Klay Thompson — need to dig deep in this home game to rescue their team from elimination.
Thompson looks tired, and Jordan Poole has not been able to activate his usual shooting prowess. Curry has been good, registering a triple-double Monday night, but it hasn’t been enough. Meanwhile, the Lakers have near-unknowns like Lonnie Walker coming off the bench and going crazy. Walker scored 15 points in the fourth quarter Monday night to vault the Lakers to their third win.
The teams are back on Golden State grounds tonight. We think the Warriors will win this one and take the series to Game 6, but it’s unlikely they’ll ultimately come back from a 3-1 deficit to advance.
