Tennessee softball and baseball had some fun in Sherri Parker Lee Stadium on Thursday, as star Lady Vol pitcher Ashley Rogers tried her hand at striking out a handful of Tennessee baseball players.

As seen in the video, Rogers succeeded in dealing Ks to multiple Vols, including Kirby Connell, Drew Beam and Christian Moore.
Later in the video, Connell made an attempt at softball-style pitching while Rogers critiqued his form.
More highlights of the video include Vols’ pitcher Drew Beam admitting beforehand that he likely had no chance against Rogers, Rogers mocking Christian Moore for going 0-3 at the plate against her and more.
One of the funniest moments of the video was a quote from Connell. After Rogers’ dominant pitching performance, Connell reacted with “We get it, Ashley. You threw another no-hitter,” in a joking manner.
During her Tennessee career, Rogers has tossed two no-hitters and one perfect game, as the Athens, Tennessee, native has been one of the premier players for Karen Weekly’s program during her time on Rocky Top.
When looking at 2023 specifically, Rogers has posted an incredible 14-1 record on 0.81 ERA in 15 appearances. The graduate-senior has been integral in the Lady Vols’ dominant season, as Tennessee currently sits as the fourth-ranked team in the nation with a 39-6 record.
