Tennessee baseball head coach Tony Vitello met with the media following the Vols’ 13-3, run-rule win over Wofford on Tuesday in Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Vitello shared his thoughts on Tennessee’s performance in the win, specifically freshman right-hander AJ Russell’s performance, more success from the offense and more.
Additionally, Vitello gave a short preview of what he knows about Georgia.
“They have some guys that have been around for a while,” Vitello said. “I understand pitching staff wise they have a lot of lefties. We have a good amount of left-handed hitters so that will be something but we’ll dive into that a little bit more, but that’s the thing that sticks out to me.”
