Tennessee football defensive lineman Elijah Simmons showed off his pipes on Tuesday evening on Rocky Top by singing the National Anthem ahead of Tennessee baseball’s midweek game against Wofford.
Snippets of Simmons singing the Star Spangled Banner in front of a large crowd at Lindsey Nelson Stadium is below.

This is not the first time we have heard Simmons show off his great voice, as he sang on a Boyz II Men song on the The Slice podcast last fall.
Simmons singing the National Anthem was not the only the only Tennessee football appearance of the night, as the Vols head coach Josh Heupel threw out the first pitch.
Tuesday marked the first time a Tennessee athlete, or anyone associated with University of Tennessee Athletics for that matter, sang the first pitch this season.
The Vols currently lead with Wofford 3-0 in the fourth inning. A win would give Tennessee baseball eight straight victories as they cap off their nine-game home-stand.
