Eighteenth-ranked Tennessee baseball (30-14, 11-10 SEC) is set to host the Wofford Terriers (32-11, 8-4 SoCon) in Lindsey Nelson Stadium for a midweek contest.

Wofford is one of Tennessee’s toughest midweek opponents to date, as the Terriers currently sit third in the Southern Conference and play small ball very well.
Additionally, Wofford has 5.04 team ERA as they are one of the nation’s best at throwing strikes, and the Terriers have posted an 11-4 road record to date.
The Terriers will be no easy task for the Vols, but Tennessee is rolling into the midweek playing their best baseball of the season. The Vols are on a seven-game winning streak, having swept both Vanderbilt and Mississippi State in the process.
Wofford will serve as Tennessee’s final opponent in their nine-game homestand, as the Big Orange hit the road for a three-game series (Fri-Sun) against Georgia this weekend in Athens.
