Hendon Hooker was drafted 68th overall by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

While Hooker fell a good ways in the draft, he landed at a spot that has a lot of opportunity.

The Lions’ quarterback situation is set in 2023, but barring a contract extension for veteran starter Jared Goff, there is a clear path to Hooker taking over as the starting quarterback in Motown in 2025 or even 2024.
