Best NBA Player Props for April 26

New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers, 7 p.m. ET (NBA TV) — Knicks lead series 3-1

The Knicks have taken a surprising 3-1 lead in this series, but securing the last victory is going to be a challenge. Donovan Mitchell is capable of having electric games, and he is sure to be aggressive in this one. However, Jalen Brunson has proven to be a challenge the Cavs haven’t really had an answer for as of yet.

Jalen Brunson to Score More than 25 Points (+110 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Outside of Game 2, Brunson has been highly effective and assertive in this series. The lowest number of shots he has taken in a game so far is 17, and it is not likely he won’t match or exceed that number in this one. Since Game 1, his minutes per game have climbed in every contest due to the difference in the Knicks’ offensive production with him on the bench.

With the need for his services abundantly clear in this matchup, the Knicks are more likely to lean on him to help seal the deal, especially in the environment the Cavs’ fans are expected to create for the Knicks. He is averaging just south of 20 attempts per game in this series on 45% shooting. It could easily be closer to 50% if not for his performance in Game 2.

All he must do is be average to cover this wager, and there are no signs he is slowing down.

Los Angeles Lakers at Memphis Grizzlies, 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT) — Lakers lead series 3-1

The Lakers have stunned everyone with their performance this far into the series, especially the supporting cast. The series is headed back to Memphis where Ja Morant and company will look to avoid an embarrassing first-round exit after a full season of relentless trash-talking and grandstanding they have done as a team.

With so much on the line for the young team, it’s hard to know whether they’ll rise to the challenge or crack under the immense pressure they have created for themselves.

Anthony Davis to Score More than 25 Points (+120 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Davis has been the epitome of up and down in the series. His scoring outputs for the series are 22, 13, 31, and 12. If that trend continues, he is due for a decent game. The Grizzlies are sure to up their defensive intensity, and Davis is the perfect counter. His ability to slow the pace of the game with his presence on the block is going to be a focal point for the Lakers.

After such an abysmal outing in Game 4, the Lakers are going to expect him to be much more effective. With an opportunity to close out the Grizzlies, it’s going to be on him and LeBron James to get it done. Although he has been less than himself in this series, he had multiple explosive games against the Grizzlies this season, and Game 5 sets the perfect stage for that version of himself to reemerge.

Miami Heat at Milwaukee Bucks, 9:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV) — Heat lead series 3-1

Jimmy Butler has been beyond dominant in this series, and it’s about time the Bucks adjust. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury may still be lingering, but he’ll have plenty of time to rest if they are sent home in the first round. There is a good chance he’ll guard Butler a little more to try and help keep him off rhythm. How effective he is when he does pick up the challenge is going to play a major part in who comes out victorious.

Giannis Antetokounmpo to Lead all Scorers (-105 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

Antetokounmpo returned to the lineup in Game 4 and secured a triple-double in a losing effort. Despite the loss, his performance should give Bucks fans hope. With a game under his belt, he should have a much better feel for when and where to attack after his two-game absence. Antetokounmpo is one of the most aggressive players in the league, and with his team’s back against the wall, you can expect him to give it his all.

Additionally, his presence, in spurts, on Butler should help keep the Heat’s star from the explosive performances he has been having so far in the series.

Golden State Warriors at Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET (TNT) — Series tied 2-2

The Warriors have clawed their way back to tie the series 2-2 after going down 2-0 in four entertaining games. De’Aaron Fox has gone toe-to-toe with Steph Curry so far, but with a fractured finger, that may not hold up. In order to maintain pace with the Warriors, the Kings are going to need the supporting cast to elevate their game.

Keegan Murray to Score More than 11 Points (-125 on Caesars Sportsbook)

Up until the last game, the rookie struggled mightily against the defending champs. However, he seems to have settled down and found some comfort, helping him return to regularly scheduled programming. He played 33 minutes in Game 4, racking up 23 points on 5-7 shooting from three-point range, and he may be in for even more attempts due to Fox’s injured finger on his shooting hand.

Murray is a 41% three-point shooter on the season and the Kings will be playing at home. That usually bodes well for young players in the playoffs. Given the confidence he gained in the last game and the comfort that comes with playing at home, this isn’t a far-fetched wager to consider. FanDuel has additional alternate point totals to consider for Murray that may be worth consideration as well, including having him at +250 to score more than 15 points.
