Following the Vols’ 19-1 midweek win over Bellarmine, the media got a real treat.
Tennessee left-handed relievers Kirby Connell and Zander Sechrist got together for a joint press conference that did not disappoint on the entertainment front.
Connell and Sechrist, known good friends, fielded all sort of questions from the media. A majority of the questions were not necessarily about the game of baseball, but rather Connell and Sechrist’s favorite activities to do together as roommates while on the road, who is the better pitcher in lefty vs. lefty situations, if they are the best left-handed tandem on the team, meetings with pitching coach Frank Anderson, a specific “show” during batting practice and more.
