North Carolina offensive lineman Ethan Calloway released his top eight including Tennessee football over the weekend.
The Vols joined Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina and Penn State in Calloway’s top group.

Calloway ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 215 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Mooresville native ranks as the No. 4 player in North Carolina and the 11th best offensive tackle in the country.
At 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, Calloway has the build to be an elite college offensive tackle and to play in the NFL.

Tennessee is looking to become a bigger player in Calloway’s recruitment. The Vols have gotten Calloway on campus once for a January Junior Day and is looking to get him to return to become a serious contender in his recruitment.
Calloway has been to North Carolina State and Virginia Tech but neither landed in the blue chip recruit’s top eight. The talented offensive tackle has thrice visited LSU, twice taken trips to Florida and Penn State and once seen North Carolina, Florida State and Auburn.
Tennessee has nine commits in its 2024 recruiting class including one offensive lineman— middle Tennessee offensive tackle Jesse Perry.
