Tennessee basketball shooting guard Santiago Vescovi is set to run things back in Knoxville one more time this next season.
After spending the last four years with the Tennessee program, Vescovi announced in late April that he would be returning to the team for his super senior season in 2023-2024. The announcement from Vescovi is one of the biggest pieces of off-season news for Tennessee and the SEC as a whole. The Uruguay native and NBA Global Academy product is a two-time All-SEC First-Team selection during his four years of playing.
Vescovi ranks third in Tennessee program history in terms of career three-pointers made (282) and career three-pointers made per game (2.47), trailing only Chris Lofton and Allan Houston in both shooting statistics.
With the news this week that Vescovi will be returning to Knoxville for one final season, take a look at some of his best highlights from his time in Knoxville, including the impressive debut against LSU, his big-time performances against Kentucky, and even some of the behind-the-scenes moments off the court along the way.
