Redshirt freshman receiver Kaleb Webb made the play of the first half of the Orange & White game Saturday afternoon when he hauled in an impressive 39 yard catch in double coverage.
Joe Milton III’s first three drives in at quarterback in the spring game were uneventful but Webb hauling in the deep ball sparked the fourth drive. Milton and Webb would team up again to end the drive as the super senior quarterback found the redshirt freshman receiver for a four-yard touchdown.

A former four-star recruit, Webb redshirted his freshman season while playing limited special teams snaps.
Webb turned in a strong Orange & White game, catching three passes for 50 yards and a touchdown. The Georgia native got more opportunities due to injuries at the receiver position as the Vols’ top four receivers — Squirrel White, Joe Milton III, Dont’e Thornton and Ramel Keyton — did not play in the spring game.
Milton completed nine-of-13 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.
