- The Nos. 9 and No. 10 seeds play each other on Wednesday, April 12. The losers of those games are out of playoff contention. The winners of those games go on to play the losers of the Tuesday games.
- The winners of the Wednesday games and the losers of the Tuesday games play each other on Friday, April 14. The winners go on to the first round of the playoffs as the No. 8 seed, and the losers are eliminated.
