The 2023 Tennessee Football Pro Day event is officially in the books.
The three-hour showcase in Knoxville took place on Thursday afternoon inside the Vols’ indoor facility.
While some participated much more than others, Tennessee had 14 players listed on their official Pro Day roster. That included LB Jeremy Banks, P Paxton Brooks, DL LaTrell Bumphus, OL Jerome Carvin, TE Princeton Fant, DB Trevon Flowers, QB Hendon Hooker, WR Jalin Hyatt, PK Chase McGrath, LB Solon Page III, DL Maurese Smith, WR Cedric Tillman, OT Darnell Wright, and EDGE Byron Young.
Tennessee had five players start the day with the 40-yard dash before moving into some cone drills to showcase footwork and speed. Wide receivers Jalin Hyatt and Cedric Tillman ran routes on air, catching passes from UT Martin quarterback Dresser Winn, while offensive linemen Darnell Wright and Jerome Carvin received a little bit of coaching from Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.
Former Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker was also in attendance for the event on Thursday, highlighting his impressive comeback from ACL surgery this past Novemeber. Hooker did not participate in any of the actual events but did get to show coaches and scouts his ability to start throwing the football again.
