Tennessee completed its sixth practice of the spring camp slate on Thursday morning in Knoxville, TN.
After rotating through some of the different positions on the field throughout the last two weeks, RTI’s eyes were locked on the quarterbacks on a nice East Tennessee morning.
The Vols worked on red-zone drills with the quarterbacks and wide receivers on Thursday. Both Joe Milton III and Nico Iamaleava looked very put together and comfortable while delivering the ball to their receivers. Milton clearly has command of the team and the offense while Iamaleava continues to put more and more of the puzzle pieces together by the practice.
After five previous practices to get some of the knots out, both quarterbacks shined under the chilly sunlight on Thursday.
The Vols will return to the practice schedule this Saturday morning with a scrimmage inside Neyland Stadium. Tennessee is also expecting some big-time recruits for this weekend’s scrimmage, too, including high-priority in-state target Boo Carter.
