Best NBA Player Props For Wednesday, March 22
Joel Embiid Over 33.5 Points (-122, FanDuel)
Seemingly overnight, Embiid has taken over the top of the MVP race, and for a good reason. He is putting up 33.6 points per game on a career-high 54.6% from the field, and while his three-point shooting percentage is down, he is still hitting at a 35.1% clip.
Over his last 10 games, Embiid averages 36.2 points per game on 61.3% shooting from the field and a blistering 42.3% from deep. He only failed to get this number twice in the last 10 games, but both times he failed to hit this number, he put up 31 points, which would leave us just a bucket or two shy of cashing this prop. Luckily, Embiid is skilled enough to find those extra baskets and easily push this one over the number.
Tonight, the 76ers will take on a Bulls team that does guard the paint well, but they also do not have a reliable counter to Embiid’s size and overall dominance. In his last game against Chicago, Embiid put up 37 points with 16 boards on 50% shooting from the field.

Chris Paul Over 14.5 Points (-120, DraftKings)
For the first time in his career, Paul is averaging under 14 points per game, but that is because Phoenix has not needed him to put up big scoring totals every night. He helps by distributing the ball to his teammates and setting up open shots. While he only shoots 43.2% from the field, his three-point shooting percentage is up to 36.2%.
With the trade for Kevin Durant at the deadline, the Suns said goodbye to some key pieces of the team, and with Durant out until at least the playoffs, Phoenix will need to find some offensive production from someone other than Devin Booker. With DeAndre Ayton out tonight, Paul should see plenty of action and get plenty of opportunity to go over this number.
They are also going up against a poor Lakers defense, which allows the most shots attempts per game, the 27th-most three-point attempts per game, and is giving up over 116 points per game. The Lakers’ guard defense is not very good and with most of the attention on Booker, that leaves Paul open to put up a big scoring night and easily go over this number.

Brook Lopez Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115, BetMGM)
Lopez has been a consistently solid player for over a decade, but he is having a mini resurgence this season. He is putting up 15.6 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per night, his highest totals since 2016-2017 when he was the face of the Brooklyn Nets. He is shooting 52.1% from the floor and 37.8% from deep, both of which are career highs.
Tonight, he will go up against the worst team in basketball, the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are in full ‘tank for Victor Wembanyama’ mode, and with Milwaukee battling for the top seed in the East, which they currently hold over the Celtics and 76ers, expect the Bucks to try and demolish this team early.
San Antonio’s defense is ranked last in scoring (122.0), points in the paint (56.4), effective field goal percentage (57.3%), three-point shooting percentage (39.2%), shooting percentage (50.5%), and shooting efficiency (1.196).
