Tuesday night’s contest against Arkansas marked the final home game of the season for the Volunteers. The game also marked Senior Night for a handful of players.
Tennessee’s seniors that participated in Senior Night included Santiago Vescovi, Olivier Nkamhoua, Josiah-Jordan James, Uros Plavsic, Tyreke Key, and Kent Gilbert.
The Vols played a terrific game and won by a score of 75-57 in front of the home crowd. Tennessee kept the score away from Arkansas’s reach throughout the contest and dominated the paint from both a rebounding and scoring perspective.
The big news of the night, though, was Zakai Zeigler. The Tennessee point guard went down in pain in the opening minutes of the game with a left knee injury and did not return to the contest. Tennessee did not have any further updates on Zeigler’s injury after the game.
Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes met with the media late on Tuesday night and was followed by Olivier Nkamhoua and Jahmai Mashack.
