Tennessee Baseball acting head coach Josh Elander met with the media following the Vols’ 6-0 shutout series-sweeping victory over Dayton on Sunday to share his thoughts on the win.
Elander broke down the performances of starting pitcher Drew Beam, first baseman Blake Burke and more. Beam turned in another great start, giving up just one hit and throwing four strikeouts in 5.1 innings.
Burke carried Tennessee’s offense on Sunday, smoking two solo home runs, one over the batter’s eye and one into the second level of the left field porches.
