After a bumpy road throughout the month of February, the Tennessee Volunteers found their groove on Saturday night in Knoxville.
No. 11 Tennessee (21-8, 10-6) defeated South Carolina (10-19, 3-13) by a score of 85-45 inside Thompson-Boling Arena.
Josiah-Jordan James returned to the court tonight after going down with an injury against Vanderbilt on Feb. 8. James’ return to the court was magnificent on Saturday, though, as the veteran combo player scored 18 points to lead all Tennessee players.

After the game’s conclusion, South Carolina head coach Lamont Paris met with the media to give his thoughts on the game. Paris spoke about the physicality that Tennessee played with, saying that it’s a bad matchup when the Gamecocks are more of a “finesse” team themselves.
Following Paris was Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes.
Barnes spoke about Josiah-Jordan James’s return to the court, the physicality that Tennessee played with, and much more.
Tennessee’s Josiah-Jordan James and Zakai Zeigler also met with the media after Barnes.
