The No. 3-ranked Tennessee Volunteers baseball team opened up the home slate of their season with a big win on Tuesday afternoon in Knoxville. The Vols defeated Alabama A&M by a score of 10-0 in the eighth inning of the game after a run rule was called to stop the contest.
Tennessee right-handed pitcher Hollis Fanning (No. 34) had the start on the mound for the Vols and strung together an effective start for the Volunteers.
