VFL and Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning was back in the spotlight this weekend as one of the two coaches for the NFL Pro Bowl in Las Vegas.

Peyton’s brother, two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning, was the other head coach in the game.

While the revamped flag football Pro Bowl game was widely considered a success online, the end of the final game certainly had people talking. It also had Peyton Manning fuming.

With the game being flag football, the rules seemed to be inconsistent and hard to follow throughout the day, which all led to the final play of the event. With the NFC up two points, 35 to 33, quarterback Kirk Cousins took a knee in the “no-run zone” to seal the game for his team. Manning and the AFC, though, were seemingly planning on allowing the NFC to score to get the ball back in the final closing seconds.

Manning ran onto the field as he was pleading his case to the official. NFC receiver Justin Jefferson, who was on Eli’s team, waved to Peyton as the call didn’t go his way.

Manning’s 11-Year-Old Son, Marshall, Has a Cannon

Prior to the Pro Bowl game, Marshall Manning, the 11-year-old son of Peyton, stole many of the headlines in Las Vegas as he was throwing dimes to the NFL’s best receivers in the game.

One of Manning’s throws ended up being an impressive 30-yard one-handed catch from Vikings star Justin Jefferson.
