Four-star class of 2024 guard Jayden “Juke” Harris released a top six including Tennessee basketball Friday afternoon.

Kansas, LSU, Miami, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest joined Tennessee in the top group for the talented high school guard.

Harris is one of the top guards in the 2024 recruiting class, ranking as the No. 42 player and No. 9 shooting guard in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Salisbury, North Carolina native also ranks as the No. 4 player in the state.

The 6-foot-3 guard had previously released a top 12 that also included Clemson, Georgetown, Houston, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Notre Dame and Virginia. Kansas jumped into Harris’ top six without being in his top 12.

Harris took a visit to Tennessee in October the same weekend the Volunteer football team knocked off Alabama at Neyland Stadium. The four-star guard has also taken a visit to Wake Forest but has otherwise been quiet taking visits.

Tennessee has had plenty of success recruiting North Carolina under Rick Barnes landing Grant Williams, Jonas Aidoo and Freddie Dilione from the ‘Tar Heel State’.

The Vols don’t have a commit in the 2024 recruiting class after signing four-players in the fall 2023 recruiting cycle. Four-star combo guard Freddie Dilione signed with Tennessee in the fall and early enrolled this week.
