With the end of January rapidly approaching, more and more news regarding the 2023 NFL Draft will be coming out in the next few months. Friday was the first day that the NFL announced the early-entry draft pool.
According to CBS Sports, “more than 100 players have announced intentions to skip their remaining seasons and turn pro.”
Here is a list of notable SEC underclassmen that will be entering the 2023 NFL Draft. Tennessee only has one representative on the list with 2022 Biletnikoff Award winner Jalin Hyatt.
Some of these players are names that Tennessee has seen (some frequently) in the last few seasons, while others are players that Tennessee may have seen on the 2023 schedule but will not anymore. For example, Tennessee will take on Texas A&M next season, so any Aggie underclassmen that declare for the draft will not be playing against the Vols come October.
