Tennessee made the top five for class of 2024 Michigan linebacker Jeremiah Beasley Tuesday. The Vols joined Michigan, Michigan State, Kentucky and Pittsburgh in the four-star linebacker’s top group.

Beasley is one of the top junior linebackers in the country ranking as a four-star and the nation’s No. 250 player and No. 20 linebacker in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings.
The Belleville, Michigan native has both instate schools in his top five and has frequently made visits to both campuses. Beasley took in two games both in Ann Arbor and East Lansing this fall.

While Beasley has been a frequent visitor at the major Michigan programs, he’s also been to Knoxville. The four-star linebacker visited Tennessee this past summer and gives the Vols a fighting chance as they look to get Beasley back on campus.
Josh Heupel and his staff signed a strong inside linebacker group in the 2023 recruiting cycle. The Vols beat out Alabama for Smyrna four-star Arion Carter and also landed Georgia tackling machine Jalen Smith.
Tennessee is heavily improving highly touted Nashville linebacker Edwin Spillman in the 2024 cycle. The Vols’ landed Spillman’s older brother, Nate, in the 2023 cycle and hold a commit from their Lipscomb Academy teammate Kaleb Beasley.
Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class is just getting started having landed three commits nearly a full year before the 2024 class’s early signing period.
