Tennessee is keeping it classic for the final game of the 2022 football season.
As the visiting team in the 2022 Capital One Orange Bowl, No. 6 Tennessee will be wearing the traditional orange-and-white uniforms against No. 7 Clemson.
The Vols will be wearing white helmets, orange jerseys, and white pants in Hard Rock Stadium. This is the fifth time that Tennessee has worn the classic orange-and-white this season. The Vols have also gone with the traditional combination against Ball State, Florida, Alabama, and Missouri.

During the Orange Bowl’s opening press conference with Tennessee’s Josh Heupel and Clemson’s Dabo Swinney in early December, the Clemson head coach teased the uniforms that the Tigers will most likely be going with. That looks to be true based on Tennessee’s announcement on Wednesday.
“I think we’re orange pants and maybe white jerseys,” Swinney said on Dec. 8. “I think that’s what the guys – I think we got to pick, if I remember right. My equipment guy, I asked him what players wanted to do. I think we’re white on orange. I think that’s what we’re wearing. But we’ve got orange helmets, orange tape, and orange shoes. We’ve got a lot of it.”
No. 6 Tennessee will take on No. 7 Clemson in the 2022 Capital One Orange Bowl this Friday night at 8:00 p.m. ET from Miami, Florida.
