Stone is one of the top prospects in the 2024 recruiting cycle, ranking as the nation’s No. 9 player and No. 2 defensive lineman according to the 247sports composite rankings.
The 6-foot-4, 270 pound defensive lineman plays his prep football at IMG Academy in Florida but is originally a Oklahoma City native. That gives Brent Venables and Oklahoma a leg up in Stone’s recruitment as he’s frequently made the 20 mile trip from Oklahoma City to Norman.

Stone took six visits to Oklahoma in 2022 including once during the football season. The blue chip recruit also took visits to Miami, Michigan State and Oklahoma State this fall.
The five-star recruit has yet to visit Tennessee, however, the Vols’ defensive line coach Rodney Garner is one of the nation’s top defensive line coaches and recruiters. Tennessee has done an elite job recruiting defensive lineman since Garner’s returned to Knoxville including landing three top 100 defensive lineman in the 2023 class.
Stone is also teammates with five-star Tennessee commit Jonathan Echols at IMG Academy.
Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class currently holds just three commits but with Echols leading the way the group ranks No. 12 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
