Tennessee football linebacker commit Jeremiah Telander capped off his high school career with a massive performance in the Georgia 6A State Championship game.
Telander recorded 13 tackles, two sacks and four tackles for loss in Gainesville High School’s narrow, 35-28, loss against Langston Hughes. While his team came up short, Telander had a fantastic performance in the state championship of Georgia high school football’s second largest classification.

The three-star recruit committed to Tennessee in late June choosing the Vols over Louisville, Florida and North Carolina while becoming the 12th commit in the 2023 cycle.
“All glory to god for all my opportunities, thank you to my family and all the coaches that have helped me through this process,” Telander said in his post when he committed. “I am committed to The University of Tennessee.”
