With December in full swing, all eyes in the college football world are on the transfer portal. For good reason too. More than 1,000 players entered the portal on the first day it was open and nearly every team across the country will look to improve their roster through the portal.
But December also means high school recruiting with the early signing period opening two weeks from today. It’s been a quiet first week of December for Tennessee recruiting and that will likely hold true for most of this month.
Josh Heupel’s second full recruiting class in Knoxville isn’t completely set but with 23 players committed it is awful close. The Vols are only pursuing a few different players to add to their 2023 recruiting class right now.
Instate four-star linebacker Arion Carter officially visited Tennessee last weekend and has an official visit to Alabama set up before he makes his final decision.
Tennessee could also pursue local running back Desean Bishop who de-committed from Coastal Carolina this week.
With Tennessee’s recruiting class mostly set and the early signing period just two weeks away, let’s take a look at where the Vols’ class ranks according to different sites.
