Three-star Alabama running back Khalifa Keith committed to Tennessee Sunday afternoon on his Twitter account.

Keith’s commitment comes less than a week after Tennessee’s previous lone running back commit — Will Stallings Jr. — de-committed.

Keith is coming off a de-commitment himself, backing off his pledge to Kentucky two weeks ago. The three-star recruit originally committed to the Wildcats in July.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound running back ranks as the No. 1,080 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Birmingham, Alabama native ranks as the 66th best running rack in the country and the No. 39 player in Alabama.

With Stallings de-commitment earlier in the week, Keith is now Tennessee’s lone running back commit. Four-star athlete Cameron Seldon could play running back in Knoxville but is more likely to play running back.

Keith is Tennessee’s 22nd commit in the 2023 recruiting class and the ninth on the offensive side of the ball.

High four-star Daevin Hobbs is set to announce his college commitment later this week and is deciding between Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

Tennessee’s recruiting class currently ranks 11th nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
