Three-star offensive lineman Vysen Lang committed to Tennessee Tuesday evening over Auburn, LSU and Texas. The 6-foot-4, 335-pound offensive lineman also considered Arkansas and Georgia.
“Go Vols, man!” Lang said in his commitment video on Instagram Live.
Lang ranks as a three-star recruit and the No. 625 player in the country and the No. 26 player in Alabama according to the 247sports composite rankings.
What offensive line position Lang projects at is to be determined with the three-star potentially playing offensive tackle but more likely playing offensive guard in college.
Lang has been a consistent visitor in Knoxville this fall, taking in Tennessee’s wins over Florida, Alabama and Kentucky. The Alabama native also took visits to LSU and Auburn during the season.

The Pike Road, Alabama native lives just 46 miles from Auburn and visited the Tigers more than any other school during his recruitment. However, Tennessee seemingly gained the momentum in his recruitment over the summer and Auburn’s coaching change all but eliminated the Tigers.
Lang becomes Tennessee’s third offensive line commit in the 2023 recruiting class, joining four-star offensive tackle Sham Umarov and three-star offensive guard Ayden Bussell. Four-star athlete Trevor Duncan could end up playing on either side of the ball in Knoxville.
Lang’s commitment gives Tennessee the 11th ranked recruiting class in the 247sports team rankings.
