Tennessee is once again in the spotlight of the latest sketch from SEC Shorts on Monday morning. In fact, this is the second week in a row with Tennessee as the focus after last week’s short following the win over LSU.

Once Tennessee defeated Alabama behind the leg of Chase McGrath on Saturday night under the lights, chaos quickly ensued. Not the bad kind of chaos, like Ole Miss one year ago, but the kind of chaos that screams, “the streak is over.” It didn’t matter what direction of the stadium you were looking at once the kick went through the uprights – north, south, east, or west – you could see fans spilling over the wall and sprinting onto the field.

Quickly into the celebration, Tennessee fans took down one of the field goal uprights by sheer collective body weight. Then, a few minutes later, the other post came tumbling down as well. It really was controlled madness.

And that’s where SEC Shorts comes in. The ever-popular comedy sketch series on YouTube is back again as they show how an Alabama fan attempted to exit Knoxville through that madness on Saturday night. The Alabama character not only has to don Tennessee gear to blend in with the locals but ends up being part of the crew that carried the field goal down by the river (down to the river, but you know what I was going for).

A nice touch is the clogging dancer Zeb Ross on the Tennessee shirt, as well. Boy was he popular on Rocky Top over the weekend.

This is now the third time that Tennessee has been the feature of the week on SEC Shorts. The Vols’ season debut on the show came after beating Florida when Tennessee jumped into the Top 10 for the first time. Then, after beating LSU on the road, Tennessee fans had to be taught to love again.

All of the videos have been terrific content from a talented group of people.
