Four-star South Carolina receiver Mazeo Bennett committed to Tennessee Sunday afternoon as the good vibes continue in Knoxville following the Vols’ win over Alabama.
The class of 2024 receiver committed to Tennessee over Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, North Carolina, Oregon and South Carolina.
The high school junior is one of the top players in the Palmetto State in his class. Bennett ranks as the No. 220 player in the nation and the No. 3 player in South Carolina according to the 247sports composite rankings.
Bennett’s visited Tennessee three times this year including earlier this fall when he took in the Vols’ victory over Florida and was seemingly blown away by the environment.

Bennett’s commitment comes on his birthday as the Greenville, South Carolina native is having a massive high school season.
Josh Heupel and his staff selling receivers on playing in Tennessee’s offense is becoming easier-and-easier. The Vols’ passing attack is lethal for the second straight season. Fellow South Carolina native Jalin Hyatt totaled 207 yards and five touchdowns in Tennessee’s win over Alabama Saturday.
Bennett becomes Tennessee’s third commit in the 2023 recruiting class joining five-star athlete Jonathan Echols and three-star defensive lineman Carson Gentle.
Bennett’s commitment gives Tennessee the No. 9 recruiting class in the early stages of the 2024 recruiting cycle according to 247sports team rankings.
