There are few people that fire up Tennessee fans as much as Vol baseball coach Tony Vitello.
That’s who Tennessee turned to narrate its Third Saturday in October hype video. A strong choice indeed.
Of course, getting Tennessee fans excite for Saturday’s top 10 matchup inside Neyland Stadium isn’t a massive chore. The excitement in Knoxville has been palpable all week as Tennessee is 5-0 for the first time since 1998 and both the Vols and Crimson Tide are undefeated for the first time since 1989 entering the matchup.
There’s an abundance of questions for both teams entering the game. For Tennessee, the status of Cedric Tillman, Gerald Mincey and Jaylen McCollough is all up in the air.

The Vols are looking for their first win over Alabama in Nick Saban’s 15 years as Alabama’s head coach. However, there’s plenty of optimism in Knoxville that this is the year.
Alabama is 8.5-point favorites over Tennessee, the lowest spread in the series since 2008.

Vitello leaned into Tennessee football’s resurgence in the hype video declaring “too long (Tennessee) left out of the coversation. These moments are earned. They are not given. And this is not luck.”
Tennessee baseball is 8-3 against Alabama since Tony Vitello took over as head coach.
Volunteer football is hoping Vitello’s success on the diamond will be seen on Shield-Watkins Field at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jenny Dell are on the call for CBS.
