Tennessee edge rusher Byron Young earned SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors and kicker Chase McGrath earned SEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for their performances in the Vols’ blowout win over LSU.

Entering the week six matchup with just one sack on the season, Young recorded 2.5 sacks in the win over LSU. Young dominated an injured LSU offensive lineman recording three half sacks and one full sack in the lopsided victory.

The senior edge rusher lived in the LSU backfield and created constant pressure on Tigers’ quarterback Jayden Daniels. Young totaled five total tackles in the win.
