Tennessee went on the road and dominated LSU, 40-13, inside Tiger Stadium Saturday afternoon. The Vols jumped out to a 20-0 lead and never looked back cruising to their first win over the Tigers since 2005.
Vol fans flocked to Baton Rouge from across the country and after Tennessee took a 37-7 lead late in the third quarter the home fans flocked for the exits.

Tennessee fans stayed well past the third quarter and into postgame where they celebrated the third road ranked win of the Josh Heupel era.
See what Tennessee players had to say about Vol nation’s takeover of Tiger Stadium postgame.
QB Hendon Hooker — 17-of-27, 239 passing yards, 56 rushing yards and two touchdowns
“It’s a blessing. Shoutout to Vol nation for making the trip down here and showing up in a huge way. I felt like their presence was definitely the difference in the game.”
WR Jalin Hyatt — Four catches, 63 yards and two touchdowns
“To be honest, it didn’t even feel like we were on the road. As far as Vol nation coming out, supporting, especially here in Baton Rouge, it’s a blessing to be a part of this group. A part of the fanbase. I love that they came out to see us play and support us. Everybody in that locker room, we love Vol nation. We love everybody that comes and supports (us).”

DE Byron Young — 5 tackles, 2.5 sacks
“It was amazing. Just on the way up here before the game, somebody sent me a video of their plane ride and the whole fanbase was singing Rocky Top. Just seeing them coming out, the fanbase travel all the way over here, that’s love. It made me feel like I was at home. I love it. I can’t wait to see what they bring next week. I know they’re going to be excited.”
RB Jabari Small — 22 plays, 127 yards and two touchdowns
“Like I said even last week, I’ve never been a part of something like this before. The fanbase, they show up week in, week out. I’m just honored to be a Tennessee Volunteer, honestly. I appreciate those guys. It was amazing.”
On if its more fun watching Neyland Stadium packed 10 minutes after the game’s over or Tiger Stadium empty in the fourth quarter
“I don’t know. That’s a good question. I think the Florida game last week was something I’ve never been a part of but this right here, this is just as sweet. I’m trying to take in the experience each week. It’s fun.”
