Tennessee and Florida will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sept. 24 with CBS broadcasting the game, the SEC announced Monday afternoon.

CBS chose the eastern divisional rivalry as its SEC game of the week— the first time the two teams have faced off on CBS since 2020.

The Vols are poised to be in the top 15 for the matchup after jumping to No. 15 in the AP Poll following their win at Pitt. Tennessee is 50-point favorites in its week three tune up against Akron.

Florida fell to No. 19 in the AP Poll after falling to Kentucky in Gainesville Saturday night. The Gators get a tune up at South Florida this week before traveling to Knoxville for the rivalry showdown.

Tennessee’s lost five straight games against Florida going back to the 2016 season and has lost 16 of its last 17 games against its hated divisional rival.

With Florida rebuilding under first year coach Billy Napier, Tennessee has a fantastic opportunity to pick up the rivalry win that’s eluded them for most of this century.

Other top SEC games on Sept. 24 included Arkansas vs. Texas A&M (in Dallas) at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN, Missouri at Auburn at noon ET on ESPN and Vanderbilt at Alabama at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
