Tennessee hit the practice field for the third straight day on Wednesday morning. As the team continues to work their way through fall camp, the media was allowed to watch and film for the first 20 minutes.
Like usual, Tennessee started the practice indoors before moving outside underneath the hot sun as they separated into position groups.
Tennessee’s defense began the practice with drills that were seeming to work on closing out to the ball. The Vols’ linebackers ran through tackling drills while the defensive lineman worked on footwork and explosive jumps off the ball. Meanwhile, Tennessee’s secondary was working on releases near the line of scrimmage.
On the flip side of the field, Tennessee’s offensive linemen were working on run blocking while the receivers and quarterbacks ran through passing routes concurrently.
