Tennessee’s 2022 fall camp officially kicked off with a media day on Sunday in Knoxville. Vols head coach Josh Heupel was the first to take to the stage, where he both spoke about the current state of the program and answered questions about the team from the media.
The Vols will hit the ground running on Monday morning as the team has four practices in four days coming up. With all the excitement towards the season building in the locker room, Heupel says that the players are certainly anxious to get out on the field.
“It’s football time in Tennessee,” Heupel said to open the press conference. “Can’t wait to get on the grass with our guys tomorrow. Really excited about the strides our players have made since the beginning of the off-season.”
