Tennessee has officially hauled in its 19th commitment to the class of 2023 on Thursday in wide receiver Nathan Leacock.
Leacock announced his commitment to Tennessee on Thursday afternoon during a press conference held at Millbrook High School.
“With that being said, go Tennessee,” Leacock said as he picked up the Tennessee hat from the table and put it on. “The commitment video and everything is going to be dropping soon, so stay tuned.”
Leacock, a native of Raliegh, North Carolina, is currently ranked as a three-star prospect across the board on 247, Rivals, On3, and ESPN’s recruiting services. Additionally, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound receiver is ranked as the No. 88 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 19 player from the state of North Carolina in the class according to On3.
With his large frame, Leacock totaled 734 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns on 37 receptions during the 2021 football season. Leacock’s athleticism is one of his biggest strengths on the football field, using his size and speed to his advantage at Millbrook

On June 27, following a visit to Tennessee a few days earlier, Leacock dropped his official top seven list featuring Tennessee, Florida, West Virginia, Michigan, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, and North Carolina. The three-star receiver did visit four of those schools in the month of June.
Nathan Leacock first began the month of June by attending a camp at NC State. On June 14, Leacock had an official visit with Michigan before an official visit with North Carolina just three days later. Finally, Leacock ended the month with an official visit to Tennessee on June 24 during a massive recruiting weekend for the Vols.
Leacock is only the third wide receiver to commit to Tennessee’s 2023 class so far. The Vols have also received commitments from four-star athlete/wide receiver Cam Seldon and three-star receiver and Nashville native Nate Spillman.
