Top five recruit Justin Edwards announced last week that he would announce his college decision at Nike’s Peach Jam EYBL tournament in Augusta, Georgia.
That decision will come on Monday, July 25 according to a report Kentucky Sports Radio’s Jack Pilgrim.

Edwards is one of the top recruits in the country, ranking as the fourth best player and best small forward in the 2023 recruiting class according to the 247sports composite rankings.
Tennessee has been in the thick of Edwards’ recruitment from the beginning and hosted the five-star for an official visit in March for the regular-season finally win over Arkansas.

The Imhotep Institute standout released a top seven including the NBA G League — which he has since ruled out — Auburn, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Tennessee and Villanova in late April.
However, the buzz around Edwards’ recruitment has been surrounding the Vols and Kentucky for some time.
Edwards visited Lexington in November and has been one of the Wildcats’ top targets in the 2023 cycle.
Since Edwards’ announced his plans to make a mid-July decision, a number of predictions on multiple websites have come in for the top five recruit to go to Kentucky.
Four-star Alabama power forward Cade Phillips is Tennessee’s lone commit in the 2023 recruiting class.
