IMG Academy standout Samuel M’Pemba released his top seven schools on Twitter Friday afternoon.
The five-star athlete’s top group includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Oregon and Tennessee.

M’Pemba ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 26 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings.
The 6-foot-3, 250-pound athlete starred at receiver and linebacker as a junior at IMG Academy, but recruiting services project him as an edge rusher at the collegiate level. M’Pemba is the third best edge rusher in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings.
M’Pemba is a St. Louis, Missouri native but the home state Tigers couldn’t land in his top seven even after earning an unofficial visit last month.

The blue-chip recruit was busy taking visits this spring an summer, taking one unofficial visit to Michigan, Tennessee, Miami, Notre Dame and Georgia while taking two visits to Missouri and Florida.
M’Pemba hasn’t indicated when he will make his college decision, but the five-star hasn’t taken any of his official visits, indicating that a commitment may not be coming anytime soon.
Tennessee has two edge rushers committed: top 100 recruit Caleb Herring and three-star west Tennessee native Nathan Robinson. The Vols are in the top three for five-star edge rusher Chandavian Bradley and appear to be the favorite according to recent predictions.
The Vols are in the midst of a strong recruiting stretch, landing four commits — including two four-stars — in the last eight days.
Tennessee’s run of recruiting success may not be over yet with linebacker target Jalen Smith and offensive line target Lucas Simmons set to announce their college decision in the next two days.
