Buccaneers Re-Sign Leonard Fournette
The Tennessee Volunteers football team hit the ground running this morning as the team officially began spring camp. The Vols took the indoor field for warm-ups and conditioning before transitioning outside to work with their position groups.
Hendon Hooker, Tennessee’s returning starting quarter from last season, looked loose and relaxed as led the rest of the quarterbacks on the field. But there were a few new faces donning the red jersey at practice on Tuesday. Incoming four-star quarterback Tayven Jackson made his debut on the practice field in front of the media, as did transfer quarterback Navy Shuler.
All in all, a lot of the practice looked right in line with what the team was doing last season. And according to Josh Heupel, that’s the plan moving forward as well. After the workout, Heupel spoke to the media about the Vols’ consistent approach to practicing, with the understanding that some tweaks and evolutions will naturally come based on the personnel.
Below are the practice highlights from Tennessee’s first day of spring camp on Tuesday morning.
