#15 Saint Peter’s Stuns #2 Kentucky In Overtime
Kentucky and Tennessee will always go hand in hand. Whether it’s on the basketball court, the football field, or somewhere in between, the rivalry between the Vols and the Cats will always be heated and historic.
On Friday afternoon in Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse, No. 3 Tennessee handily took down No. 14 Longwood by a score of 88 to 56. Immediately following the Tennessee game, Kentucky took the same court but came away with a different outcome. Second-seeded Kentucky was upset by No. 15 Saint Peter’s on Friday night to officially close the Wildcats’ season. Kentucky fell by a score of 85 to 79 in overtime.

Weird. Its almost like Tennessee was the best team in the SEC and should have been seeded as such.

Tennessee had 29 assists today on 33 made field goals against Longwood.
That's illegal in 48 states. https://t.co/52AFPw4ln9

Kentucky totally deserved that 2 seed instead of Tennessee.

Again, why was Kentucky a no. 2 seed?
Meanwhile, Tennessee looked like the Harlem Globetrotters today.

You hate to say it’s the worst loss in school history, but it probably is
Others have been more painful but this is the most embarrassing

I don't know who will win the national championship. I don't know if there is a "best" team in the sport.
What I do know is that NO ONE in college hoops is playing better than Tennessee right now.
Vols win their opener by 32 and advance to the second round of the Big Dance 🍊

As for Auburn, Tennessee, etc fans in my mentions tonight, I won’t see any of them. But I get it. We deserve all the heat

Food for thought: In December/January, Kentucky:
* Beat UNC by 29
* Beat Tennessee by 28
* Beat Kansas by 18Tonight:
* UNC won by 28
* UT won by 28
* Kansas won by 27* Kentucky lost to Saint Peter's 85-79 in OT.
Kentucky peaked in January/early February. Plain and simple
