Duke (+1300) To Win The National Championship
It’s official. The Tennessee Volunteers are the 2022 SEC Tournament champions for the first time since 1979.
The Vols played a dominant game against the eighth-seed Texas A&M Aggies, leading to a victory by a score of 65-50 in Tampa, FL.

Once the game was over, the celebration was underway as players, coaches, and managers all began running around the court with pure jubilation. Tennessee chancellor Donde Plowman and Athletic Director Danny White were also in the celebration, giving congratulatory hugs and wishes to the players and head coach Rick Barnes.

Even though the game wasn’t in the Volunteer state, the Volunteers’ army of fans still came to play in Tampa.

After snagging some championship gear after the game, Tennessee center Uros Plavsic went to show it off in front of Tennessee’s crowd that had barrelled down toward the court.

Tennessee first-year assistant coach Rod Clark embracing injured veteran Olivier Nkamhoua. Without the help of Nkamhoua on the court for the majority of the season and his guidance even through injury, the Vols would not have been able to make the run they have this season.

Before the SEC Championship trophy was handed out, Tennessee freshman all-star guard Kennedy Chandler was named the SEC Tournament MVP. In addition, Chandler, Santiago Vescovi, and Josiah-Jordan James were all selected to the All-SEC Tournament team.

Then came the moment that had everyone checking for cut onions. After cutting down the nets in Tampa, Vescovi and James brought the net over to coach Barnes on the sideline.
