Davis, a 6-foot-5, 215 pound tight end on the football field, is Josh Heupel and Tennessee’s highest ranked commit in the 2023 class.
The tight end committed to the Vols back in December over Ole Miss, Georgia Tech and Florida State.
The Suwanee, Georgia native is the 80th ranked player in the 2023 class according to the On3 consensus rankings and is the nation’s No. 4 tight end.
The athletic, pass catching tight end is the No. 8 player in the state of Georgia. The Vols had some success in the 2022 class in the Peach State — particularly in the early signing period — and both of Tennessee’s commits in the 2023 class are from Georgia.
Davis’ showed his athleticism in the freak dunk, handling the ball incredibly well for a 6-foot-5 forward before throwing down the two-handed slam.
