It was a wild night in Knoxville, TN, on Saturday night. While looking for revenge after a loss earlier in the season, Tennessee defeated LSU by a score of 64-50 in Thompson-Boling Arena in front of a rambunctious Tennessee crowd.
The Vols earned a massive win on Saturday night while playing in a game in which Tennessee never trailed. After beating Vanderbilt earlier in the week, this was an extremely important compounding win for Tennessee and head coach Rick Barnes.
After the game, Barnes met with the media for a few moments to discuss his thoughts on his team. Barnes gave his reaction to the Vols’ win, as well as spoke in detail about some plays, schemes, and moments from the game in particular.
Tennessee guard Santiago Vescovi led the Vols with 16 points on the night while Uros Plavsic had another excellent game with 12 points and six rebounds.
