One Response
When I read the news this morning about Lincoln Riley–I got “that sinking feeling” that I got when Pete Carroll left USC. Are we in for another big let down? Same scenario-7-5 season–4 and 4 in the SEC -first year head coach.
I believe that Kiffin would have stayed–and I remember him later saying that it was a mistake to leave UT–we would have in the 20-teens–challenged and maybe would have won a SEC title. Danny White and the UT administration should act immediately to extend Heupel’s contract with a big raise. I believe that Heupel can develop UT into a team that will challenge and maybe win a SEC title in the 2020’s. I don’t think that we can go through another decade of lousy football.
Thanks for listening,
