Barnes addressed some of those questions Wednesday, going into detail about how the new and old faces are meshing. The Vols head coach also discussed Tennessee’s January road trip to Texas— where Barnes spent 17 seasons as head coach.
Tennessee started strong last season, climbing as high as No. 6 in the rankings in January before sputtering down the stretch. The Vols earned a five-seed in the NCAA Tournament before Oregon State upset them in the first round.
