The Tennessee Volunteers will have several “firsts” this Saturday night in Gainesville. It will be Tennessee’s first SEC game and the first road trip of the year. In addition, it will be Tennessee’s first SEC, away, and Florida matchup in the Josh Heupel era.
It’s safe to say that there are plenty of storylines heading into this primetime matchup in The Swamp.
The Volunteers are 2-1 on the year, with wins against Bowling Green and Tennessee Tech. The Vols lost their second game of the year to Pittsburgh by seven points. Meanwhile, Florida took down both Florida Atlantic and South Florida but lost to No. 1 Alabama in week three.
