The Tennessee football team is officially underway in week two after defeating Bowling Green in the opener. Week two will present a big event for both Tennessee and their opponent Pittsburgh this Saturday in Neyland Stadium. Before the season the game was rebranded to the Johnny Majors Classic to honor a legend of the game that spent time in both places.
During his Monday morning press conference, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel discussed the game against Pittsburgh, among other things. Coach Heupel also broke down his thoughts on the team after Bowling Green and what improvements will be a priority in advance of Pittsburgh. He also talked about some of the Tennessee traditions present in week one.
Coach Heupel also shared his thoughts on UCF’s McKenzie Milton and his return to the football field Sunday night.
In addition, some of Tennessee’s top playmakers from their week one showing also spent a few minutes talking to the media. The players discussed many of the same topics but from their own on-the-field perspective.
Tennessee will be back in Neyland Stadium this Saturday at noon ET when they take on the Pittsburgh Panthers.
