Before the Tennessee football team takes on Bowling Green this Thursday night, the Vols’ baseball team will be hosting a special event. Tennessee Baseball will be hosting a home-run derby on the afternoon of the football game, with all proceeds benefitting areas hit by flooding.
The home-run derby, which will feature the current Tennessee baseball roster, will take place in Lindsey-Nelson Stadium. The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 4:45 p.m. ET.
“Admission is free and all donations will go to help those in need,” read the post by Tennessee Baseball on Twitter.
Specifically, the tweet stated that all donations will go to areas based in Middle Tennessee.
Catch the Tennessee baseball home-run derby this Thursday at 4:00 p.m. ET. The game will take place before the Tennessee football opener against Bowling Green at 8:00 p.m. ET.
